萬象暦BANSHOREKI

Banshoreki main entranceObservatoryPositions

Positions

From date, time and place: planetary longitudes, houses and aspects as numbers, together with the intermediate values used in the calculation (Julian Day, ΔT, sidereal time, obliquity, nutation).

Not a reading; no interpretation text. A tool for checking the steps in the guide with your own birth data, or comparing with other software. It calls the same code as the Banshoreki reading, so the same input gives the same numbers.

Enter the UTC offset in effect at that place and time (Japan 9; New York −4 in summer / −5 in winter; London 1 / 0). Picking a city with “Find a city” fills the offset for that date and time (daylight saving included) from about 34,000 GeoNames cities and the IANA tzdata history (what was entered is shown under the field; before 1970 the values are estimates). Latitude and longitude can be typed directly.

The CSV is UTF-8 with BOM and opens directly in spreadsheets (column names are in Japanese). Saved inputs stay on this device (localStorage); nothing is sent anywhere.

How far these numbers are from JPL Horizons is shown for 100 cases in Verification.

House system is selectable above (default Placidus). Tropical, Pluto included, orbs as in the main reading. No sidereal zodiac. Sources: JPL Horizons tables (Sun, planets, Chiron, asteroids), Astronomy Engine (Moon), Meeus formulae (sidereal time, nutation, ΔT, nodes, Lilith).

Aspects and orbs can be changed in Settings (this device only; the readings are unaffected).
