About date-only previews

This first look uses noon UTC with time and place marked as unknown. It does not calculate your ascendant or houses.

Your birth date is processed in your browser, not sent in the page request.

Before you set off

Do I need to know my birth time?

No. A date is enough for a first look. The preview uses noon UTC, so fast-moving bodies such as the Moon may differ from their position at your actual birth time. For a full birth chart, add the time, location and UTC offset in the app. Use the offset that applied on that date, including daylight saving time if applicable.

Are these real planetary positions?

Positions are calculated using Astronomy Engine and the site’s ephemeris data. Voyager paths use NASA/JPL Horizons data. Planet sizes, orbital distances and travel effects are adjusted for a readable 3D experience; this is not a view at true scale. Astrology’s interpretations are distinct from astronomical calculations.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Open it in a modern browser, drag to turn the scene and pinch to zoom. The 3D experience needs JavaScript and WebGL. If 3D is unavailable, the app also offers a numerical planet table.

Do I need an account?

No account or installation is required. Your birth details are passed to the app in the part of the address after #, which is not sent in HTTP requests. Avoid sharing that complete address if you want to keep those details private.
